After registration and an initial assessment, sometimes the Career Readiness Certificate - CRC alone may be all that an individual needs to become a better prepared worker. A CRC is a workplace-based credential that gives employers and career seekers a uniform measure of key workplace skills. Other situations require more intense education and training programs through Career Preparation. There are seven public school systems, 11 community colleges and 12 colleges and universities available in the surrounding areas of the Wilkes, Ashe and Alleghany counties. |
